Delano Hotel

On a business trip recently i booked into the Delano on my own. I would'nt rate this a 5 star hotel, but it was a good 4 star. The downstairs lobby and bar area had the feeling of a nightclub without the atmosphere and some of the staff a little disinterested in helping or being polite.

It was great location for shopping and Resturants the only need for a cab was when i overbought!
The beach was a few steps from the hotel,which was kept pristine clean and the sea was warm and clean and free sellers.

Rooms were nicely furnished but very few surfaces to put anything on,bathrooms very tiny and a little tired, no tea and making facilities, no icemakers in the lobby. All the usual complimentrybathroonm products were chargeable at £29 per 30ml bottle!

Food was very good with two eating areas to choose from.
Pool staff needed a big tip before they would attend to you, which in a top 5 start hotel is very poor twice I was left waiting 15 minutes before io was given a bed and a towel.

Would I stay again- no I trhink I could find nicer hotels for the money but the location was excellent.
