Having a tube up my arse has never felt so good! I was worried to start with, but one it got going, I was fine. Feel so much better for it. Makes you feel so much healthier!

I was recommended to this place, and it was so much better than I thought it would be. Clean throughout - thats the clinic and me!

Cathy had made the ground floor into a disabled-friendly colonics suite, looks like the best hotel, and is miles away from the feeling of being in a bathroom with a couch instead of a bath that you get in some places. The en suite shower room is reassuring, and very private, no danger of being overheard here.

Cathy has an amazing amount of knowledge and a very friendly professional manner. There is no embarrassment with her at all, and as the treatment progressed she explained what she was doing and why, which I always find really interesting. She also gave me guidance about some of the things I eat, which I found very helpful because it related to me personally and was information not readily available elsewhere.

Afterwards I felt wonderful, cleaned out and clear headed, and wondered why I had left it so long. I will definitely go back there – she’s the best in Edinburgh (and probably one of the cheapest).

How great to see Cathy and colonics at number 1! Although I no longer live in Edinburgh, I have had several colonics with Cathy and she is an excellent, patient therapist. She makes the whole process as calm, easy and successful as possible and is on hand to answer any questions you may have. I highly recommend colonics as a regular treatment, especially in conjunction with a liver or other cleanse.

I had read about colonics a while back but was unsure which one to go for in Edinburgh. I finally decided on “EH1 colonics” because Cathy was a registered practitioner and also a registered nurse (I had some medical issues). The website was informative and well structured and it was easy to make an online booking.

Although I was a bit nervous at my first appointment, I immediately felt at ease with Cathy. She is very professional, calm and a good listener. I also like that she explains everything so well. The facilities are immaculate, modern and very central, but also private as they are tucked away from the main streets. I have had 4 treatments now.

I definately recommend Cathy. If you are thinking about getting this treatment done, then go for it, you will be in good hands.

This is THE place to go for colonic hydrotherapy. If you’re a colonic virgin, a bit nervous, not sure if you dare - try EH1. You’ll be well looked after. Cathy seems to get the balance just right: she’s totally professional and has a wealth of knowledge, but she’s also deeply caring and goes out of her way to make her clients feel at ease. Once you come here, you won’t want to go anywhere else.

This clinic offers a confidential service based in a very convienient location. Having travelled from Glasgow on public transport i was delighted to find the clinic was based right in the city centre.

I have to admit i was apprehensive about making an appointment and discussing my embarrassing condition but once I met Cathy all my fears were alievated. The clinic is bright, very clean and very comfortable. The holistic approach the clinic takes to well-being enabled me to access alternative treatments in tandem with colonic irrigation which helped me overcome my condition and improve my health and energy.

I so glad I found such a professional, helpful service which EH1 Colonic provided.

Cathy who is a fully qualifed Nurse instilled confidence in me immediately by putting me instantly at ease through her professional yet caring attitude combined with the time she spent discussing the concerns I had and the questions i wanted to ask.

Throughout the procedure Cathy checked i was comfortable and explained exactly what was happening. Having had the procedure and follow up treatment my energy levels and general well being have improved enormously.

I would also recommend this specific clinic as the clinic was immaculate and in a very private but central location.

Like the other reviewer, I was a little apprehensive about going for my first colonic irrigation treatment. After hearing from some others how much better they felt afterwards, I made the appointment but as the day approached I found myself getting quite nervous.
I needn’t have worried at all.
Cathy’s a great therapist and - from the beginning - was very sensitive to my nerves and my modesty!
She has a great treatment centre - right in the middle of town. I went for an after-work appointment which isn’t always easy to find but suited me.
I’m amazed at how much better I’m feeling after the treatment - it’s remarkable that something handed down by the romans could be so useful in this day and age.

Great results in terms of sorting out my IBS with the Nurses help. She really put me at ease and it wasn’t painful. Very clean and relaxing environment. Good value for money in terms of longer appointment times and only using all disposable equipment. Easy access by public transport and easy pay and display parking too.
