“Meet me half way” my mate said as we agreed to have lunch today, and so I remembered this place.
Y two five is a restaurant located within Ealing YMCA, its a fairly nice, clean and cheap place to eat and the profits are fed back into the housing project for young people who live there.
They do a good range of sandwiches, filled jacket potatoes, pasta dishes, pies, fish/chips and salads. They have daily specials e.g. Chilli, Lamb Hot Pot and the likes. It all looked fine, our lunch - tasted great, just like at home and nothing costs over a fiver. Lunch for two with drinks cost us £12. Sandwiches are £1.50 - £2.15 max. Having remembered this place, I’ll go back again.
They also have a kids menu and soft play area.
Seating is well spaced, comfortable and its quiet enough to chat and enjoy your lunch. Its very unpretentious.
The staff very friendly and polite.
Facilities are clean and well kept.
The whole place is on one floor and entirly wheelchair accessable inc the facilities.
The do functions inc. weddings and conferences.
