called for a pint with my son. I had a wonderful nutty pint of dark mild, he had a couple of lagers. Excellent beer, good atmosphere. Top pub!

It’s quite easy to sum up the Bridge Bier Huis (that’s Beer House in Dutch in case you wondered). Real ales - check. Great atmosphere - check. Live music - check. Pub grub at lunchtimes - check. All available in a great atmosphere with friendly staff and customers and not a chav in site! It’s perhaps a more mature person’s pub, although I’m a mere 25 years old and obviously appreciate the finer things in life. There’s a phenomenal selection of beers and lagers which are quite reasonably priced and plenty of seating and sofas to relax with friends, enkoy a drink and catch up on some gossip. Well worth a visit.
