Barry is by far the most reliable, friendly and good quality handyman we have ever used. He's very happy to explain things and give you options and his rates are very reasonable. He fixed our front door, put up some shelves and advised us on some other work we'd been thinking about. Would definitely use him again, and again, and again!

Barry was recommended by a friend of a friend, and I really feel I've struck gold. Really happy with the jobs he's done - sorting out a couple of leaks and securing a floor before an engineered wood one goes down on top - and the way he approached them. Firstly, he turns up when he says he will, which warrants a star or two by itself. He'll talk you through any issues or problems, and he's vey happy to answer any questions. There's no skimping on the labour as he's very conscientious, which makes you feel extremely reassured with the quality of his work. Totally recommended. Be prepared to wait as he's in demand, and rightly so.

Barry has done a number of small jobs for us over the last few weeks and we have been very pleased indeed with his work. He is a pleasure to have around and incredibly efficient. Always on time, he has carried out jobs as diverse as putting up blinds and fixing various light fittings around the house. He took the time to come over on a Saturday when we had some lights fuse, which was very kind. As neither my husband nor I have the time (nor the inclination or competence) to deal with these jobs we are delighted to have found someone so professional and reasonably priced to assist us. Barry came to fix the door of our office dishwasher because it wouldn't latch shut and therefore wouldn't run the wash cycle. He fixed it so quickly and was such a nice guy. I will definitely be calling again next time we need odd jobs done. As an office manager in a busy London office, I call out dozens of people to help with whatever comes up and I have to say, Barry is the first person to not talk down to me because I'm a woman or to call me pet names like "sweetheart" or "darling". Barry, you will be the first person I call next time!

Barry re-installed our bathroom cabinet after my husband had a go and it fell off! He also fixed a broken kitchen drawer and hung a picture. He was very fast and professional and really nice. Will definitely be using him again....feel very pleased to have found someone this good so easily in the local area.

I can thoroughly recommend Barry - he is a very nice guy who works quickly and does a great job. We had a list of small jobs that needed done, such as putting up mirrors, a smoke alarm, and re-attaching fixtures that had come loose. We were a bit apprehensive about putting up a heavy mirror without knowing how much our wall could hold, but Barry was able to advise us and fix the mirror where we wanted it and where it would be secure.
He is a pleasure to have around and has a great sense of humour. He worked really quickly and did an amazing job. I will be recommending him to my friends!

Very neat and well worked out repair to a shower surround that had been leaking for some time.  Involved repair to wood/ frame and surround and resealing the shower tray.  Highly recommended.

Barry has a diverse range of skills and experiences so has effortlessly tackled installing a new kitchen hood, building new kitchen drawers, fixing a sofa .... and next time bath sealing and fixing rotten window sills.  He has carried out all jobs to a very high professional standard at very reasonable prices so great value for money.  Barry is very likeable and I appreciated that he made sure I was ok with things as he was going along.  Its great to find a decent person who you can trust, who can deal with most household jobs and won't charge the earth or cut corners on the quality.  Handy on the hill is very handy indeed, and would recommend.  Kate, N6

Barry was very efficient and thorough, additionally he was very likeable, which I think is a huge selling point when working with a trades person.

His rates are very fair, and I would not hesitate to recommend him. I will be referring him on to my sister who has a rental property that needs work.

Barry provides a professional, hassle-free and competitive service. I needed work doing to the outside of my property in Belsize Park. Barry responded to my email enquiry very quickly. He gave me a detailed quote of various options I could choose for the resolution of the problem. Each option described the steps that would be necessary and a step-by-step calculation of the costs. Barry carried out the job to an excellent standard and charged less than the estimated quote. Will definitely use Barry again. H

I have been using Handy on the Hill for a few years now and I have to say their service is top-drawer. Their quotes are always competitive and the quality of work is excellent. I use these guys not only for domestic works, but also for my business needs. They have carried out numerous repairs for us and installed a dummy CCTV system at our yard.
I really cannot speak highly enough of these guys and would recommend them to anyone!

barry did some small jobs around my house yesterday and i have to say he was a pleasure to do business with.  he returned calls promptly, was punctual and picked up larger items from the DIY store for me and carried out the tasks swiftly and tidily.  he is a very pleasant man  and i would thoroughly recommend him.
