pepperP: “Fabulous decor. Very attractive and relaxing. Amazing atmosphere, staff were over whelming. To top it up with all of that, the food was mind blowing. Have to say, what a great job they are doing. Will definitely return, and is highly recommended!” more...

Pretty belly dancers and good food, quite pricey but works out okay with a Tastecard. Will definitely visit again.

I'm torn between positive and negative in this place, so I'll just list them and let you decide!
Positive:
Belly dancers! And they are gorgeous!
The atmosphere (sometimes)
Very nice cocktails
Negative:
When the belly dancers are out the music is way too loud. So loud you can't have a conversation
It's deep underground so can get stuffy
The atmosphere (sometimes)
It's expensive
I don't think I'd go there again. They've put in a good effort but it's in a weird location. It might be better on weeknights but I was there on a Saturday and it felt dead as a dodo for most of the evening!

Its goof but not amazing. The belly dancing is fun the first time but thereafter is a bit jarring and VERY noisy. Service was a bit mixed and standard 15% tip on bill seems a bit much.

I went to Kenza recently on the Toptable offer that's doing the rounds for a "Feast" style menu for £42 for two. We also splashed out on some of the drinks which are pretty expensive (Cocktails around £10 each).
The place is really nice inside, the decoration, the vibe and so on. On the night we were there, they had a fortune teller set aside in one area as well as the usual belly dancing that seems to happen every hour or so (you'll most likely see it if you dine there).
So, a really good atmosphere and good service, but I wasn't impressed with the Food. Small plates of various treats to start with, which were good but often in my view underseasoned. A single main dish was brought which was again small and this was a selection of different meats, well seasoned but very similiar to each other, it was served on I think a bed of rice, well done, but I wouldn't pay for it as a main on its own. The desserts were good, fruit, small puddings and some great turkish delight.
I would have liked better tastes, while it might be defined a 'feast', if they cut down on a few small dishes at the start and really concentrated on flavour that would be good for the remaining dishes.
Overall, it's not going to be a regular, not affordable on a regular basis and you can get as lovely cocktails (they were very good) elsewhere for £6 or £7, instead of £10, a sizeable saving :)

A veritable oasis of unexpected Middle Eastern opulence in the City. The ambience and atmosphere is great and the place takes you far far away from the humdrum world of finance just outside.
Food is only slightly above average though, and my Moroccan friend says it’s tolerable but not quite as authentic as it could have been. Judging from the taste alone, I have to agree, but it is not at all bad - just that it could have been better.
The service is quite good, even though there are a lot of discreet cabins, and I heartily recommend a visit just for the experience.

This little place is well tucked away, but worth looking for if your in the area and fancy a visit to Ali Baba’s cave…well, it can feel like that: underground, dark, middle-eastern vibe, belly dancers, gold, etc.
Food and cocktails are good, but pricey (we are in the city after all).
Had a work function here once, which worked pretty well. Decent “crowd” food with the mezzes…

Fantastic food and stunning surroundings. We went here for lunch and the service was excellent and food was prompt (always good if you have to get back to work)
We went while there was construction work being undertaken in devonshire square so were concerned that there may be a lot of noise, however being underground it was welll insulated from any disturbance and it was a quiet haven.
As mentioned by other reviewers it was a little on the pricey side, however it was very tasty and would return.

Lovely mezze/lebanese food here in comfy surroundings. Small touches are nice, like complimentary pitta, and if you order mint tea, turkish delight and yummy baklava. It’s for special occasions tho, as it’s city prices ie not cheap AND there is a 15% service charge as well as a cover charge. Mind you, there was belly dancing when we went which was fantastic!
