Re. our visit on 18/05/08
What a disappointment. Looking forward to a meal here as it had been recommended. My friend lives in the Algarve so went along to have a look. Staff were surly, far too busy for their own good, i.e. unable to cope. Waited for meal for 55mins but nothing came, not even an apology and they knew we were there as our order had been taken. Other tables were served before us. We cancelled, paid for our drinks and left. Not a murmer of an apology, just surly and bad tempered. The girl behind the bar and the British person with the long grey pony tail especially so. We love the Algarve and have eaten well, and sometimes not so well, in many places. Some of the best are the cheapest and where the locals go. We will definitely avoid this one in the future and will not recommend it.
Hopefully this will appear on the web page but I very much doubt it.

the best place for food and music I found on the Algarve. A real discovery, brilliant cakes, nice people, good music 2 nights a week and a stunning setting. If you want a change from dried cod and rice and chicken this is the place.

Also Silves is a really nice town. The old Moorish capital of Al Gharve has a fab castle sitting on its top. Don’t Miss!

A fantastic place to meet and eat with good friends and the locals.
