Wood Street Library is situated on the corner of Forest Road and Wood St. It has a car park next door which is supposed to be used but is usually locked, there is a small lay-by around the corner.
There is a ramp and disabled toilet.
It has a good range of books and a fair reference centre.
The children’s section is large and friendly-looking.
Shame it has limited opening hours, but at least it’s still there!
