We visited this shop whilst we were on a mini break away to the lovely village of Betws y Coed..On entering the shop the 2 staff members just looked us up and down and didn't even manage a smile, great first impressions.... we returned the next day to make a purchase, again a couple a crap apple faces greated us..Not. There was a really helpful bloke there but the rest of the staff need to realise that tourists are money to them, Smile, be friendly and above all lokk happy doing your job.. It's such a shame, the shop has some lovely items to browse at, shame the staff are so grumpy..

Having just received my sheepskin rug which was ordered over the telephone on Saturday afternoon, and received as promised today Tuesday, I would highly recommend Anna Davies.    Peter the manager was very helpful from my initial enquiry (by email), and was kind enough to , provide extra photographs of his up to date stock.

I used the online shop which sells some really nice items, however their postal service is very poor. I ordered a really nice item unfortunately it was not packaged with any protection and arrived broken. A replacement was sent, this had obviously not been inspected closely nor had any quality control as it had gouge marks on it. Anna Davies tried to explain the marks as construction marks as it was hand carved – the marks were clearly not left by the craftsman but damage. Both items also had grubby marked tags. When dealing with the issue I had a series of patronising emails from the management of Anna Davies who eventually threatened me with legal action should I review their service.

Not recommended as the customer service here seems very poor. I overheard the staff refusing to exchange a gift for a customer even though he had a valid receipt and had travelled all the way back to Betws-y-coed especially! As other reviewers have noted, it's also quite expensive. I'd give it a miss and shop elsewhere.

This is a great shop if you r looking for that unique gift for a loved one or close friend.We are quite regular visitors to Betws Y Coed and always find time to do the Anne Davies expirience.Like one of the previous reviwer it is a bit pricey but the range of gifts and their quality are second to none.I have always found something there when ever I have been stuck for a gift.Located in the heart of Snowdonia it s a walkers dream village good choice of eateries.No doubt will be back there before christmas again this year.

Anna Davies is a well established and well known shop in the Snowdonia resort of Betws-y-Coed. It’s probably not right to simply describe it as a gift shop but I’m not sure what else to call it.

It isn’t by any means cheap, you’ll find exclusive brands like Ugg, Barbour, Clogau Gold and Portmeirion although there are some more affordable options. The product range includes clothing, ornaments, jewellery and homeware.

It’s a nice place for a browse if you find yourself in Betws-y-Coed but make sure you’ve a few quid to spare if you want to buy anything.
