One of the best places in the area.Food tastes good and the service is very good and friendly x

The food is nice the portions average but the prices are a little high.

Even though it closes at 10pm, do not whatever you do, go in at 9.10pm and order a kebab and expect there to be any salad left. And certainly dont comment on it or ask for it to be refilled as you will get a told to come in earlier (like i did) by the mouthy bird behind the counter. Given that she wasnt even the person serving me I wasn't amused.

5 star food (when they can be bothered restocking)
Might as well shut at 9pm as thats when the customer service declines!

Great chips, lovely fish. Chinese is very nice as well. Very quick, friendly and eager to please. Very well run chippy!!

Great for fish and chips, burgers etc. Not the best for Chinese.

Mike’s Fish Bar is probably one of the best chippy’s in the north of Liverpool, Huges portions of quality chips not sloppy re-heats made with quality potatoes, Fish is large and beautiful and very reasonabley priced. They also do a fine chicken or lamb kebab and burger selection as well as a large chinese food menu. They are not short od regular customers but the queue moves very quick and is well worth the wait. all in all you get far more for your money here than in a lots of other places. Don’t miss the mushroom gravy, or a cooling slush drink.
