Unfortunately I did not have a good experience with this shop.

I had just been to a restaurant, and loved a 2006 bottle of Chapoutier Leys Meysonniers. I searched the web to find exactly the same wine, and this website had this available, and so I ordered 12 bottles.

Unfortunately, what arrived was the 2007 variation. There was no annoucnement that I had received a different wine.

I complained, asked how they wished to proceed, and I got a bog standard “read our terms and conditions, we can do this, tough luck … if you want send them back, but at your cost”.

I would have been happy with a €20 voucher to continue my custom at this shop (I’d just ordered just short of €200 of wine), and am aggreived that they have misadvertised the product available. IN the days of the internet, it is not difficult to keep your website in line with your inventory. Mistakes can happen, and in such circumstances one would expect some “kulanz”.

After my complaint they did change their website.

Unfortunatley, typical of German service. I will not be a future customer.
