went to see Phil with an on going back problem and after 2 session I can now walk in heels with no pain and I stand straighter. Thank you Phil, will be back.
Philip Ascroft freed me in a few sessions from pains in neck and back. He is by far the best osteopath I have ever met. As a writer I spend hours a day on my computer and suffered from sever back problems.
They are gone and Phil gave me a lot of helpful advice.
I also appreciate his sense of humor and his thoughtfulness.
In an emergency he was immediately ready to help, even it was pretty late at night.
Five stars for an expert with a heart, a brain and a big laugh.
I visited Phil in December 2009 when arriving from Sydney I discovered that my neck was causing me pain. He was fantastic in that he spent lots of time working with me to identify the area that needed work. I was so impresed that he took the time to talk and time went so quickly. His rates are very reasonable.
Any Aussies who need a bit of work on the body after a long flight I recommend Phil.

I am lithuanian girl working in a big shop warehouse. Quite long time I was suffering from left leg and foot burning, pain and tingling in my lover back. My upper back and shoulders were not o.k. as well. Before first treatment in Essex I was not sure it is right decision to trust my body for strange movements. But I was so surprised when even after first session (without any pain!)Phil realised my upper back from tightness! Little bit more efforts demanded my left leg. After 4 sessions I felt big difference and after 6 I forgot about pain!!!I understand that it can be not permanently, but this Doctor has done a remarkable job. My pain is gone! I would like to say big thanks to you skill, efforts, care and kindness. Thank You so much, Phil!
Phil really did sort my back pain out!! After 2 years of back pain work and life were getting pretty unbearable. I had been too see countless amounts of people who all thought they could cure me…but nothing was working. After seeing Phil a few times I saw massive improvements, he’s very knowledgeable and got a great attitude. Thanks Phil!!
Am so impressed with Phil…I am a Primary School teacher and my back pain was making it almost impossible to work. After the first session with Phil I felt a huge improvement! Then, after just a few more, the pain had completely gone. Phil is highly skilled and also very personable. Who thought having your muscles and joints manipulated could be such fun? Thanks Phil! :)
Great results after seeing Phil for back and neck pains. His attitude and approach were friendly & informative and went to some length to get beyond the symptoms to find the root cause. Treatments were thorough and delivered quick results - just need to make sure I remember to do all those stretching exercises now!
Professional treatment by Philip the osteopath for my back and sciatica.
I am a Swedish girl working in Covent Garden and I needed somebody qualified to sort my aching back! Phil the osteopath at Roseandcrown hairdressers was recommended to me by a colleague(!) It only took 2 treatments. Phil was comfortable to be with, and articulate. His massage was firm. It’s a fantastic hair salon too!
Headaches for 2 weeks…walked from the Strand to see Phil the osteopath at the hairdressers based behind The Lamb and Flag pub. Haven’t got one now!
I’m in a ballet production in Covent Garden and have just found my favourite osteopath! I used to go and see Phil when he was a student osteopath. Nice…
Recently discovered the wonder of osteopathy as I decided to try and sort out my neck, shoulders and arms after years of abuse on the computer all day every day. Phil has a nice little room below the Rose and Crown hairdressers, where he clearly works wonders with his clients. The service is extremely professional, trying to find out what the root causes of any discomfort you have, and then manipulating the right joints to sort them out. He will also teach you useful stretches you can do yourself to help out.
If you have any sort of discomfort and have had no joy with your GP, I would highly recommend having a look at this.
wow
not only can you get the most amazing bob cut by rick…
pop downstairs and phil will help you with all your osteopath needs…
my back has never felt so good!!!
thanks Phil
I visited Phil the osteopath at roseandcrown in Rose Street for my back pain. He explained everything and predicted 4 sessions but i actually felt a lot better after two. Price is also affordable. Highly recommended. I’ve also booked in for a haircut- but not with Phil!
It’s a godsend having an osteopath in town when you work late hours. I’ve been to Phil about my headaches and sore neck. I prefer osteopathy to massage because they have the same medical training as a doctor but also do massage!
My neck and shoulders ache all the time at the computer and I wanted somebody medically trained but who also did massage. Working in Leicester Square, I was amazed to find that there’s an osteopath in a very cool hairdressers in Rose Street. Phil explained what was going on and fitted me into the work schedule. Well worth the cash.

trisha Good osteopath and good massage. Recommended if you’re hunched over computer all day.
