Delicious food, great atmosphere, friendly staff.
Great Turkish Food!!!!!
Me and my 6 friends ordered Set Menu 2. For only £16.50 per person we got a lot of starters to share inc. humus, beans, falafel, Pastry - cant even remember the names of the rest.
Afterwards we chose our own mains, which we share. Delicious!!!!
After the meal we had a dessert which was part of the set meal.
It was milk pudding baklava and Stuffed apricot. Love the apricots.
We will definitely come back.

Really good and cheap food here, with the daily set menu, 2 courses for £8.50, amazing value. I had the portobello mushrooms with spinach and mozzarella, which was bursting with flavour and very tender mushroom. My main course was the lamb with some kind of potato/corn mush and rice and yoghurt, topped with a green pepper.
The only thing I can fault with the place was that the service was really slow. The staff were very courteous and helpful, but the dishes took a long time to arrive, this despite the fact that it was a Sunday afternoon and half full when we sat down.
Overall, not a bad place to eat, and pretty cheap, compared to the more expensive restaurants along Upper Street.

Good atmosphere, friendly helpful staff, and reasonable food.
Gallipoli Again probably isn't the best Turkish restaurant I've been to in London, but it's not bad. The food is reasonable, whilst not outstanding (and would have been better had it not arrived on freezing cold plates). The staff were very friendly and helpful, with a good sense of humour, and the whole place has a good fun feel about it.
I wouldn't recommend it for a quiet romantic meal, but if you're looking for reasonably-priced Turkish food with a lively atmosphere on Upper Street, you could do a lot worse.
Great prices for a ton of food. Boy and I chose to share the Meze platter to share. We had so much food for us that it was silly. I dont know how to pronounce most of what we had, but as far as the standard eats - the tastes were right on! Lots of good veg and tender meat bites served with a basket of pita for the many dips and delicious sauces -- yum. The only bummer for me was that they dolmas/dolmades did not live up to my taste standards. But one dish out of ten -- aint bad.
A great place with great prices and fine food. Always a good lively atmosphere.
Be prepared to dance on the table if it is your birthday! Even seen them make the bride to be dance on hen nights as well.
I recommend Cafe Gallipoli as it has always delivered a great night without breaking the bank.
Great Turkish restaurant on Upper Street.
The staff are really friendly and welcoming.
Good wine selection (Oddbins next door delivers their wine).
I haven’t been here since the smoking ban, but they used to have awesome shisha. I guess it’s now sadly a thing of the past.
I’m might be a bit biased because the last time I was here I was with a group of friends and we were all tripping our heads off on mushrooms. It was an interesting experience, to say the least.
But don’t worry, it’s a fantastic place even without psychedelic stimulants.
Authentic cuisine, authentic staff (friendly, but quite harsh) and excellent food!
Come here for lunch or an early dinner to avoid the crowds.
Their food is turkish/oriental, the best humus in town!
Wines come from the neighbouring Oddbins and are reasonably priced.
Try the meze platters for starters to share!
One of the plethora of restaurants on Upper Street in Islington, Gallipoli Again offers Turkish food in a heavily decorous atmosphere with the scent of incense burning in the background. With the decour being what drew me in, in the first instance, I was eager to give the food a try. After having my complimentary olives (which are on all of the tables), I was looking forward to my appetiser of hummus. I was kind of surprised that my hummus didn’t come with pita bread, which I had to order separately. This kind of put me off to start with as it seemed a bit cheap, but I was well rewarded with my main course, which was a special of the night of a very large fillet of salmon on top of rice and roast vegetables. The main course was much larger than I was expecting, but it tasted fresh and delicious and I was very pleased. My partner’s beautifully presented plate of spicy sausages and other accoutrements was equally pleasing to him so overall the food, on the extensive menu, seems to have a lot going for it.
I think I would definitely try this place again if only to try more items off of the large menu. It was definitely a good choice for a pre-gig dinner.
