The distinction between spas and beauty salon is rather blurred but I can tell you spas offer a lot more water based therapy (HYDROTHERAPY)as opposed to beauty salons that tend to concentrate on facials,massages,make-up and epilation.
Here within the five star Sanderson Hotel the spa prides it self on making the effort without the effort-the decor which consists of floaty white curtains dividing changing rooms. The service and attitude of the staff is encouraging and knowledge based-they seem to know a lot about the therapies offered there.
Of the number of rather unusual facial treatments they offer I thought the Carita Le Visage Preventative facial treatment was rather pricey-but quite good. For the sum of ninety-five pounds I got a galvanic type therapy which suggests that there was slightest of the slightest lifts in facial skin.My skin looked beautifully cleansed and toned and I did notice a remarkable difference the following day.The effect lasted a few weeks and I wouldn’t mind going there again.
