The Pets in City

I recently went on a desperate search for a cat bed that is both popular with cats as it is with people under 80.  I was fed up with taking the ugly cat bed off my radiator every time friends came for dinner, and I just can't stand shades of beige, brown or dark green.  Not an easy task!  Until I came across Pets in the City, a lovely little shop at the end of a row of shops on this little known road in North Kensington.
My heart sank when the owner mentioned that someone had just been in to buy her entire stock of cat treats (how inconsiderate!), but luckily didn't also clear her out of cat beds.  And there it was, amongst the usual subjects in granny colours - a beautiful fluffy bed made from a shaggy purple and white (not beige!) fabric.  Simple and effective, my cat loved it from day one.  And what's better it looks like a scatter cushion and not out of place in a modern Notting Hill flat.  A winner!
