The Nightingale Pub

We have also been a regular on a Friday night for the past year, the live bands are always very good, the atmosphere is friendly and everyone has a lot of fun. We sometimes go on Sunday but much more during the summer where you can enjoy the garden. 
As soon as we walk in the pint of fosters and bacardi and coke will be on the go.
I would recommend this pub to everyone although the age group does seem to be around the 40's. Perfect for a great night out watching a band and assured there will be no trouble.

The Nightingale Pub is an excellent lovely local pub.

My partner & I have been using it for the past couple of years & we have had great experiences each time we go there. 

The pub itself is very well maintained & is a traditional type pub (not one of those so called 'trendy wine bars'). This place has character & a welcome feel. Great summer garden too.

The owner is a wonderfully welcoming lady with a heart of gold & a wicked sense of humour. The whole staff team make you feel at home (& they remember what drinks you drink every time you go back).

They have regular live music acts playing across Fri-Sun (new website coming soon but until then call to find out). The acts are always first class & guaranteed to get you on your feet.

Drinks prices are great (even do a bucket of 5 bottles of Budweiser for a tenner)!

Everyone is always welcomed to this fabulous, happy, non-pretentious, gay friendly, lovable pub!
