This place is awful, do not buy vouchers to come here!

Like other reviewers, I booked 3 waxes through livingsocial. The first, I was told the wrong time, and when I turned up at a different time they said not only could I not have the first wax but that I had lost my first voucher. Second, I managed to book 3 weeks in advance during the week. It was the most painful wax I have ever experienced, and I have a high pain threshold! I have been trying to book the third appointment for weeks but to be honest it will soon expire and I'm going to have to give up. They told me I had to book by email even though I booked the other 2 by phone, then there have been no appointments at any time I could do in the last two months, and now they have sent me an email to say that as I have already visited the salon I can't use my last voucher!

Halfway through the year they offered me a 'gold' extension of my voucher, with instructions to email them to get it, but when I did they said I needed to book a full price service first.

All in all, terrible customer service, very rude management, and no attempt to retain customers; on top of it all it was a terrible waxing experience. I feel like saying to them, that if they offered a good service they wouldn't need to keep selling themselves cheap on voucher sites!

That is so bad  The first booking I made of my 6 treatments, I had to book 5 weeks in advance as I wanted to go after I finished work But then knowing of this situation I booked all my other treatments with 5 weeks in advance.
and I also ad another voucher which was about to expire and when I asked them they said to give to a friend to use  . I think this was helpful.
I will go back even if they do not do more vouchers.

Really terrible experience, and unprofessional customer service. Stay away if you can. I booked my first appointment (over the phone) for waxing after getting my living Social Deal Voucher 3 sessions. The first time – one of the most painful waxing I had in very long time. The girl was polite but not very experienced I thought. When I tried booking session 2 I was told I can not book it over the phone if I have a LivingSocialDeal Voucher and I need to email them, I said I booked this way previously and that I want to make a booking now. They took my booking. I obviously didn’t receive any conformation afterwards. On the day for my session 2 I tried to make sure about the timing, they didn’t pick up the phone until it was nearly the time for my session. I tired calling them several times, I heard only an answer phone where you can not leave the message! I was told I can not reschedule for later. When I said I tried calling, they said its not their problem and put the phone down. I still have one session left.. so I am thinking now do I really wanna go there? NO! And I advice You the same.

I have also had the same problem.  In September, I bought a living social deal for a shellac mani pedi at this salon.  Since then I have been trying, without luck, to book an appointment at the salon.  There is now a total of 20 emails back and forth trying to come up with a suitable time.  I told them I can only come in the evening or at weekends and like the lady above, they kept coming back with morning appointments mid week.

I just got off the phone to the receptionist who told me she cannot find my email, even though while on the phone to her I forwarded the chain of emails to her directly.  She still "could not find it".  I, again, told her that I can only come on the weekends or after 5.45 and she said she would call me back, I am not confident I will hear from her again.  The voucher expires on the 28th February.

The whole experience has been a disgrace and I will be writing to Living Social to complain.  It's the first and last "deal" I will ever buy from Living Social.

What a shame and rip off:

I rarely complain about salons and had previously used this place following a living social deal for 3 brazilian waxes over one year.
The first wax I had was reasonable, not brilliant, but figured it was a good deal, so not to be picky. When I next tried to book a wax, admittedly a few months on, but still 2 months before the end of my deal, I contacted the salon 3 weeks in advance to organise something.
I was emailed back with one date, which I couldn't do and after sporadic and slow email responses I eventually called up to see if I could resolve the matter on the phone. I spoke to the manager who was polite, but totally unhelpful. He only had appointments after I left the country for a month long trip, which would mean that upon my return I would have to get 2 bikini waxes within the space of a month!!!! I asked if he could extend the vouchers, he refused, I explained to him all the communications that I had been trying to have with the salon, he still refused to help me out in anyway, stating that appointments were only available during the day (which I couldn't make as I don't have time to leave my work to get a wax done) or only when I was out the country.
I understood his position, but hoped that he, as the manager, would be able as a gesture of goodwill, help me out seeing as I had been trying to organise something for THREE WEEKS. He still refused and I told him I would write a negative review about his salon and complain to livingsocial.

I'm thoroughly disappointed with the whole experience and urge people not to buy a deal with this salon, as it seems to be making all of its money off these deals and therefore everybody is trying to cash them in asap, therefore resulting in a ridiculously backed up diary, and a manager who clearly does not care about ensuring clients return. I will now not even bother to cash in my two final vouchers and will go elsewhere.
