Who drives to Alicudi, needs some strong nerves to stand this silence. Especially if one stays on the mountain, it will get difficult. This total silence, views over the other Aeolian islands and towards Sicily are great as well, if you can stand yourself. You will need to bring something to read and hike a lot.
