“We love you San Pauli, we do!”

So I just attended my first St. Pauli game last night. The atmosphere they get down at the Millerntor is amazing. It’s sad that the football isn’t so great, well it wasn’t last night anyway.

The opponents were 1860 München (supposedly a better team than St. Pauli), but they were even worse than St. Pauli. The final score was 0-0, oh well.

One thing that I found a little weird was how 90% of the chants in the stadium were in English, however it was useful in allowing me to easily join in :)

oh, and they start every game with ACDC’s Hell’s Bells…
