Great place to hang out until the wee hours. Smoke friendly and diverse crowd. During the week there are mostly locals but on weekends there are people from all over the world.
If you don't speak German that's OK since everyone of the staff can converse in English.
And to experience Kreuzberg at night, this is the place to be.
Gays, lesbians, TG, straight...take your pick, you don't have to go to a gay bar.
It really starts to come alive after 1:00 am and then the fun starts.
Friendly staff, guests, what more can you ask for.
Bottom line, you immediately feel at home.

In the daytime it’s a coffeeshop which turns in a bar in the evening. They sell tasty hot drinks until 8 pm - but don’t expect any frappucino, chococino or something like that. Bartime starts at 6pm, earlier in the day you won’t get alcoholic beverages.
They don’t have cocktails but very good longdrinks a range of bottled beers, one basic red and one basic white wine.
Bar staff is pleasant in the Berlin way. The toilets are very nice decorated - you have to have a look!
They have a terrace which closes exactly at midnight - they won’t discuss about that.
Customers are mixed straight and gay.
It’s a smoking bar!

Perfectly acceptable place. Not much to crow about, but pleasant bar staff and clean bathrooms…I wouldn’t head across town to go there, but if you’re in xberg already you could do much worse.
