Boots The Chemists

This Boots store is a huge store with a large amount of stock and does get very busy at lunch times. Like most Boots there is a range of toiletries, lunch food and chemist items but there is much more choice than most stores. The sandwiches, wraps and flat breads are really tasty and if you get a meal deal it works out at not a bad price for what you get. Boots chocolate and vegetable crisps are also really tasty. There is a good stock of toiletry items and electrical beauty products but it can be quite limited and maybe be worth ordering online for some items. At christmas Boots has wide choice of gifts on 3 for 2 which is handy to pick up a few presents without breaking the bank. There is also a decent photography department with a small range of cameras and accessories available and the option to print photos either in an hour or overnight. The store does get very busy and is a bit cramp but the range of products is very good. Not all of Boot’s stock is available so a visit online maybe necessary for some electrical items.

I think I have a Boots addiction as I cannot go in without purchasing something or maybe I have a toiletries addiction as I always always buy the stuff they have on 2-4-1 even if I don’t need it, I keep a little stockpile in my bathroom cupboard like a squirrel. I like this Boots as it doesn’t get too busy at lunchtime unlike the one in the centre of Leeds and its a nice size so you can find your way around without getting flustered although they don’t have the same vast range of make up as the boots in the centre which is a shame as I love all the funky make up like counters they have in there which is another addicition of mine…

I have just had a very pleasant shopping experience in this very Boots so thought I would review it! Went in on a busy lunch hour for some sarnies, as you do, and realised I needed to get a prescription, so asked how long the wait would be and the very friendly pharmacy assistant lady with the glasses and spiky hair said she’d do it straight away, and then we were all merrily chatting away about contact lenses and glasses for ages.

It was most jolly.

I also then got some sushi and some fancy vegetable crisps and a bottle of water for £2.99 and they were all tasty. Apart from the water, water’s never tasty. It’s just water.
