Ahlequelle bei Neuhaus/Höxter

To the left of the route after Uslar, convenient in an expanded oak forrest, whose powerful trees exceed over in the summer and autumn a not less impressing overpower-high “forest” from eagle fern, lie, the sources of the Ahle. Which down-flows here, between protection hut and groups of seats, stair-like, the water is one of the two sources of the Ahle. This open source supplies the four places Neuhaus,Silberborn, Fohlenplacken and Mühlenberg lying in the high solling forrest with drinking water. The Ahle, which is fed later still from further little rivers, unites here with the Dölme rising southeast from Neuhaus. Always for a trip well.
