Great small-looking cinema offering a really good viewing experience. I still miss living in east london because it means that I can't get to this cinema as easily! Truly a nice place :)
And with all the al fresco dining in the quays nearby, it makes for a lovely evening out.

I’m almost afraid to bring attention to this cinema for fear of it being spoiled by the general public. That is not to say that my partner and I are ever the only people in this cinema. Rather, when we go here, which is fairly often, although it seems to pull in a good trade it never feels overwhelmingly full of loud types who can end up ruining the cinema-going experience. Seeing a film here is almost always a pleasant experience (except for the one time this summer when the AC wasn’t working, though they did warn the audience in advance and gave us time to decide if we wanted our money back). There is usually a good selection of the general releases with the occasional arthouse film thrown in as well.

What I also especially like about this cinema is the location. Situated by West India Quay and Canary Wharf, there are plenty of bars and restaurants to choose from nearby for a pre or post film drink and/or meal. It never gets quite as busy in this neck of the woods as it does in the West End, making it fairly easy to find a suitable place for food and drink. I just hope it stays that way!
