La Maqinista is a good shopping centre but you must be careful of pick-pockets all the time. Be very awear that a lot of people get their handbags, wallets, cell phones, cameras and other personal possessions stolen, especially if you look like you’re a tourist!!
This is also true where ever you go in Barcelona, metro, Las Ramblas, Sagrada Familia…, there’s always someone ready to pick your pockets.
