Rileys American Pool & Snooker Club

ah my old friend Rileys..great place to shoot pool (duh) and drink pitchers of pretty gross beer! Since the refit a few years ago, the tables are in much better condition. They even purchased enough triangles so each table has their own! Sounds silly but many a game was begun by scooting around other tables asking to borrow their triangles..

Not the best place to watch footie exclusively, the sound is often terrible (if they put the sound on for the game at all) but it’s good if you want to play and watch.

As above, steer clear of the food. When you start to think 'hmm maybe it’ll be better this time’, don’t - it won’t! Oh and ladies? Only go to the loo if you REALLY have to..wow. that is all I can say..

Nice staff, a few nice regulars (and a couple of crazy ones) and pretty much a cool vibe all round..

A good place to go and shoot some pool with your mates, have a drink and chill. Usually there is some live sports on the small tv’s in the corners of the club but i guess its ok as your main aim should be to play pool or snooker. There is usually some kind of offer on if you intend to play for several hours or after a certain time. Food and drink is served at the bar and there is also a jukebox if you have any particular tracks you would like to listen to whilst playing. The biggest annoyance is the cues are often skewed and the tips are bent.

I have been using this pool club for five years and it is well worth a visit. The staff and management are excellent and tables are in very good condition. I would not recommend the food though!!! What we do on saturday afternoon is hire a table from 11am till 6pm for £10, and go off for an hour or so to have lunch in the chinese buffet upstairs - yummy yummy…
The club is located across the road from shepherds bush central line tube station and is open late seven days a week. A yearly membership will set you back £5 per annum, but gives you unrestricted access for this club and every rileys throughout the country…
