TGI Fridays is way overpriced for what you are getting. It’s pretty much one notch up from a burger king (with nice crockery) and the American-style motif is a little bit irritating. Especially considering that one is in central London, I would probably go after something a little more authentic. But if you have the money and don’t mind the setting, then be my guest.

Usual TGI Fridays affair, with an American themed setting and an American style menu. The cocktails are really good, and they have some nice burgers and steaks. Prices are a little steep, but the staff are always very friendly, and upbeat. They also enjoy making a big fanfare when it is someones birthday, which is always fun, so if it is your friends birthday be sure to sneakily tell the staff to surprise him/her!

It is a chain of course.Upside you now what you are getting -downside this one costsa fortune -I know it is in as central London as you can get but at the end of the day you are buying a burger fries and a coke.
Lots of american tourists moaning about prices service and size of the portions. This one is identical to any I’ve been in -cramped and noisy.Chirpy staffas alaways incredibly iritating.
Food goos -asked for well done -got well done.

Exactly what it says on the tin! TGIs - American diner type food, booths, steaks, cocktails, American style interior, over-friendly staff. Had a good night and didn’t mind the extortionate bill at the end!

But still, my favourite thing about TGIs - the cocktails - simply amazing!

I love it in here, its near the theatres as well which is great for pre-theatre!! The service is pretty quick and the staff are great.

The menu is like the other TGIs restaurants, tex-mex and American. But the highlight for me is the cocktails!! And the bar staff, if you’re just sitting at the bar, can make you anything you want even if its not on the menu!

Ok so we went here because we know the name and have been told how good it is, I was really looking forward to a nice meal and it was nice a quiet when we got there.

I had the rack of ribs which looked edible when it turned up but very bland..

They literally get a rack of ribs and put it on your plate with some sauce and jacket potato. No effort went into presentation I can tell u that.

The meet was tough and I was not impressed, I did not finish the meal.

I Will not be returning that’s for sure.

Chain restaurant that is usually packed and full of tourists. Great atmosphere if you want to go somewhere lively. More a place to go with your family and friends. They do an oreo cookie cocktail but it is quite filling so I wouldn’t order dessert. Sometimes they do special meal offers if you sign upto the website.

Great Cocktails.
Great Food.
Little Expensive.
But WELL worth it! Go for a night out - meal drinks then find yourself a club.

Always had some really nice filling food here. The drinks they do are great but they are expensive so watch out for the prices on some of the cocktails. They do a great rack of ribs in a jack daniels glaze sauce and it is so good that i can never leave one!
i also have had a great burger here before and it was cooked really well and i would definately go back for another. My nearest one is actually bluewater but i had a great deal in the covent gardens one for good and sins menu which they did a while back so i’m not sure if they still do it. There are also great desserts. Worth a visit in my eyes.

I’ve always had such a good experience with TGI’s, bkuewater, covent gardens, Lakeside etc and each one i’ve gone to the service has been good, the cocktails yummy and they will make you a specail one if you can’t find something you like they will make you something of the tops of their heads. The centre of this restaurant actually has a big square bar which is great if there is lots of you. People do queue to get in here so they must be doing something right!
I love the fajitas and would definately reccommend them.

This part of Westminster is really nice to walk around in. During the holidays I went with my family to this particular restaurant with some trepidation because I had a bad experience eating in the one in Westbourne Grove which has now closed down.
But when I walked into this one the smell the fragrant baby-back ribs and ever so tasty appetizers very tempting and gut feeling indicated to me that dining here was going to be a good experience. I can honestly say having eaten there that I will change my mind and recommend eating at TGI Friday's again.
The staff are friendly and keep you supplied with weightless rolls baked to perfection. Try buttering the rolls with some of their delicious spread. Not long after you take a few bites, the waiters and waitresses were at my side taking my order.
Everything is fresh and made after you order it. The staff will keep you on your feet with drink refills and club drinks if you just want to chill.

The so tender, grilled to perfection meats melted in my mouth without any difficulty because the meat if its not grade A can be tough and chewy. Try their signature honey BBQ glazed baby back ribs. You will begging for more. Don't forget to add a fresh crisp salad to coordinate with any meal. There's something to satisfy everyone’s needs. Pick something off the appetizer menu for a snack, or fulfill that rumbling stomach with a meal sure to satisfy anyone.
So are you hungry? Want to try something different? Do you want a great meal that you won’t regret eating, that doesn't cost a fortune? Hit T.G.I. Fridays, it's a great environment you're bound to return to it again sometime.

This is one awsome place to dine, especially for dates as its not formal but its not cheap and nasty so you get the best of both worlds and can have a bit more fun than a standard restaurant. Always busy which means you know its good quality, but its got many seats so someones always leaving which means the wait doesnt tend to be more than half hour.

Big fan

I went once to a TGI Friday restaurant (in Bayswater) and this was quite a sad experience. Basically this is a chain providing a standard US food menu with the usual burgers and steaks. The waiters are dressed in a tacky uniform and have been trained at the American school of restaurant service (forced smile). Unless you are really hungry for a burger and cant find anywhere else to go, there is no much point in going (and my experience it is mostly tourists going there because they are hungry and these restaurants tend to be on high streets). Try Gourmet Burger Kitchen instead, much better burgers and even better value.
Note: I just walked past the place and noticed that TGI has closed in Bayswater (May 2007)... that says something about the success of the place I guess.

A good American restaurant, big, crowded and serving large portions of excellent food, including burgers, steaks, ribs, chicken.

Friendly service, but at times there is a long wait where people queue up on the outside just to get on the waiting list. There is a large bar in the center of the restaurant.
