Great little lunchtime venue with a superb value set menu option. Choose anything you like from the mains, plus a selection of delicious starters, and a desert for EUR7.50. Everybody finished what they ordered, and the food tasted fresh and healthy. Lots of salad, dressing... all that good stuff.

On the downside - it's extremely dark in here for lunch - but then, Hamburg is quite dark at the moment, and, they didn't have the lamb because it was sold out. Probably a victim of tasting too nice.

Try this place.

Riad's is a nice little restaurant. It's a little bit dark in here if you don't get a seat in the front room, but pretty comfortable nevertheless. I had a delicious Falafel plate for 5,50€ from the lunch menu card. For 7,50€ you can also get a lunch menu consisting of any main course, three starters and a desert. This is what I'm going to try next time, since I still was a little hungry after having had my Falafel plate.

A pretty decent meal for 7.50 Euros. We had a mixture of houmous, vine leaves, beans, tzasiki (sp?) and chick peas to begin with, followed by lebanese chicken and rice, then capped off with some sweet, non-descript chewy things. All in all satisfactory food. On the other hand, the service was a disaster. We must have waited 45 mins for our main course. All the food came at the wrong time. Unhelpful waiter etc. etc.

SUMMARY - Good food, bad service. It's as simple as that.

The place was not crowded. The waiter had to move the tables together for us (there was 10 us, I think). I had fish with salad for 6€.

The fish was OK, but I didn't like the salad. The portion was kind of small and I left the place a little hungry. Maybe I should have gone with the menu for 7,50€, where you get 3 different salads, a main dish that you can choose and a desert.
