strengthofabear: “Came here on New Years Day for Lunch with Ruiz and others, ended up staying till 11pm. Good jukebox. Helpful staff. Nice beer garden. Good location. Food was very average, standard pub stuff at best and not a lot of choice.” more...7 reviews of Harrow Pub in English
My fav pub around is this, huge beer garden (gets rammed when its hot, so busy you will be lucky to get a table!) decent food and good choice of drinks, a few fruities in there as well if thats your thing
A very popular pub especially in the summer with their lovely garden. Excellent location near pub transport when you need to get home. Their is also a lot of takeaway places near by so you can grab something to eat after a drink. They have a carpark out the back for the non drinkers. Staff are friendly, cheap drinks and a tasty food. What more cna you want out of a pup. Seats are comfy for a nice sunday drink if thats what you are into
I love this place! I have been frequenting The Harrow occasionally for the last 17 years and it has always been one of my favourites. There is a 'restaraunt’ type area that serves traditional pub grub at a fair price with a large 'pub’ area on the other side of the pub to gather and get merry. The staff are always really polite and have a laugh and joke with you.
The garden is big with enough good size (and most importantly stable) tables including big sun shade umbrellas. Children are allowed with the usual pre requisites.
The Harrow is such a fantastic traditonal pub. It always has a great atmosphere and drinks are so cheap. You can get a bottle of wine for about £6.00. It has some lovely gardens which are great in the summer and it has a big car park. They sell some gret pub grub, day and night and staff are always very friendly.
Just been here for lunch and i have to say what a warm and inviting place to eat. The food was a good standard and the staff were very friendly…
Really nice cosy pub with a beautiful open fire. The decor is warm & inviting. The pub offers food and has a substantial wine list. The atmosphere is warm & relaxing. There is a lovely beer garden with plenty of tables & seating. I have been here quite a few times (Once for New Years) the staff have always been very friendly. I would recommend this as a venue to meet up with good firends for a nice relaxing evening
NIce friendly pub during the day or night!! Only been here once in the day as usually down here with my mates before out at night for a few drinks but when when i did visit her in the day they had quite a large menu of food and did various platters!! All staff are firendly but on a Friday night or Saturday night be prepared to wait atleast 15 minutes for a drink as gets very very busy!! Average price for drinks nice comfy sitting area and also beer garden with a cornered of smoking area for all you smokers out there!!
