Hollywood Bowl

A tidy friendly bowling alley in the centre of Bradfords Leisure Exchange making it a great venue to visit after one of the many surronding restaurants. My son had his 5th birthday party here as a party package and although the party co-ordinator we were allocated seemed to have a personal hygiene problem (B.O) he was very friendly and helpful. Party food was average, micro pizzas & chips etc but it did the trick for 12 hungry bowling party goers. Pretty good value and a change from having a kids party at home or in a play gym.

Really good value to be had at this bowling alley. It’s in the middle of the city centre and there’s a huge multi-storey car park in this complex for those who want to drive in. Generally you can always come in and just grab a quick game but often at busy times (e.g. Saturday’s when there are a few kids parties on) its probably best to book. They also do some decent grub here, and theres a bar for anyone who would rather be a spectator. I love playing in the arcades here too, great craic to be had all round at a very reasonable cost!

This is the best value bowling place I have ever been to! We took the kids on Sunday morning and the kids go free with each paying adult before 12pm so we only paid £8 for four of us to bowl for an hour! It was great fun. They have an amusement type section as you go in with video games and grabbing machines, then there’s a café too. There are loads of lanes to bowl so it’s not often you’d be kept waiting. The shoes are all sprayed after each use so no sweaty feet smell LOL Great place for family fun.

No atmosphere - bright flourescent lights and the guys on the reception bit weren’t that bothered really. I s’pose they do work at Hollywood Bowl. In Bradford. The scoreboard was a bit 1980s old fashioned too.

It gets 3 stars though for providing non-cheesy shoes, and being handily available to me when I was drunk.

This is a good night out for a price but well worth it. Be prepared to spend about £40 for a few games of bowls/food/beer and maybe a few games in the arcade on the numerous different games there. The bowling alley has about 7 lanes which do fill up quick so you do need to book if you can to make sure you get in and dont have to wait forever. The lanes are fully computerised to keep the scores for you and you can also order the food to your lane. The food is ok with the choice of burgers/pizza/chips and other fast foods. The prices are a bit dear but the food is nice so it doesnt spoile the day/night. You can also have a drink in the bar after your game and you can also go sit in the cafe for your meal instead. They do separate kids meals too. The toilets are clean and tidy and the workers are very nice.

Average bowling, bar is good, games are fun but you have to fight armies of chavs who are skipping school to get onto the good games and the guns sights are off due to abuse. Daredent put my bag down when shooting.

I’m amazed by the amount of time I can spend at this bowling alley. I don’t come here only to bowl, but also to play the arcade games- basketball, deal or no deal (at 1 pound each though), football, and of course, test my luck at the doll catcher (and i’ve seen people win from there!). There is also a pool table at the bar.

The bowling lanes are great- very clean and the people are friendly. A selection of affordable food (mostly burgers) can be ordered to your lane. Overall, a great place to spend time - as a family or just a group of friends.

28 lanes but they get busy easy so you really should book to ensure you get a lane.

A good night out but can be a bit dear.

Adults is usually about £4 for a game and £3 for kids, which if you add another game as we usually do two games and then food on top it is quite dear. shoe hire is included.

They have cheaper prices at the weekend early morning when they arent at their busyiest and during the week after school.

They also do game deals where you can get one game free, etc.

The food is quite tasty but again quite dear but once again they do sometimes have special offers and they also deliver to your lane if you want.

There is also a pub and a cafe inside but the beer prices are quite over the top.

There is also an amusement part if you want a go on the arm bandits or the dance machine or table hockey - just watch your money go….
