Wonderfull Moroccan food as well as British food for people with less exotic taste. I’ve been here a few times now and have always had something wonderful from slow cooked lamb with apricots and almonds (delicious) to simple and tasty kebabs. The decor has been done to suit the theme and is very cosy and relaxing. The staff are always wonderful and the owners seem very friendly also. A great alternative for a meal out. Apparently they also have buffet nights where you pay a set price and eat as much as you can.

Extremely nice and great value with the £10 buffet option. Small family business with friendly owners and decent service, apparently wine isnt up to scratch but food is good - great in fact. Not tried steak but morrocan buffet a rare treat to try! Great amount of salad, unlimited flatbread (and baklava if you have any space!) with some of the best dips I’ve seen, as well as offerings that vary from day to day; harrisa chicken, roast veg, lentil soup, meatballs, spicy chicken wings/fish, refried beans, pork - morrocan dishes and a couple of dishes for the unadventurous that are pretty good if not comparable to the exotic stuff.
That said they do some good ribs from time to time. Well worth a look in! Its got a good atmosphere, nice decor and music if a little on small side it makes up for it with bags of charm and steady supply of tasty treats….

Candela is a restaurant which makes Moroccan food and steaks, seen that it is a steak house!! Frankly this restaurant is great! The managers are super kind, the reception is great we are served well.

As regards the food, that to say … It is excellent!!! Being Moroccan, I am complicated when I go into a restaurant which serves Moroccan dishes,well, it was great!!! Earthenware cooking pots are delicious, we have all the sorts; chicken, beef, fish … And for those who do not like the Moroccan cooking, well there is always the eternal steak chips! The beefsteak being cooked on live charcoals in front of you!

There is a warm atmosphere, with oriental music, we can even dance!! The boss also plays the darbouka when he has finishes his service! And on Friday and Saturday there is an oriental dancer who comes to put the atmosphere …
Candela is a restaurant which is convenient for everybody whether it is families, groups and the couples!
