I've been getting waxed at least monthly every month for about 3 years at Designer Waxing and can't fault their services or the staff. The girls are always lovely, professional and make a hollywood nightmare a hollywood dream (ok, sorry, that was cheesy but really - they are as close to pain free as you can make a wax of all your intimate hair)!
Don't think I'll ever go anywhere else. Good job guys!!

Have been to a few places before but nothing compares to Designer Waxing. Vicki put me totally at ease and it is by far the easiest and least painful Brazilian wax I've had. The lycon wax they use is so easy and I can honestly say virtually painfree. Vicki is friendly and professional and I would never consider going anywhere else now! Ive told all my friends and family to go! Highly recommended!

What a brilliant find! I never caught the girls name but she as fantastic, very little embarrassment felt, it was super quick, and was the least amount of pain I have ever experienced having a Hollywood! Will definitely be returning from now on!

I go to Caitlin once a month for the last year or so, honestly can say I've never had a better Brazilian wax. Had some right disasters in the past, but Caitlin is brilliant, great chat, very precise and puts me at ease. Minimal pain and embarrassment. I would highly recommend.

This place is an amazing find! I've been getting Brazilians for a couple of years now and decided to give this place a try. What a difference, I won't be going anywhere else in future and will recommend my friends to come too. The girl who did my waxing was a good laugh and she did a really thorough job and it was nowhere near as sore as my last salon, almost painless in fact! If you're reading this, definitely give this place a go.

I have been going to Designer waxing for about 18 months now and noticed immediately when you changed over the wax to another brand,I have to say I don't find it as good and it was quite uncomfortable compared to the previous wax used. Rather than not go back I have been back another few times since the changeover to give the girls time to work with it and see if it improves.I am afraid to say I will have to be looking to go elsewhere as a result of the change. The girl is fab,its the wax that is a problem for me.

In the few days since you posted this review we have been asking clients their opinion of the wax we use and received great feedback. We find the wax excellent, and that it removes more fine hair straightaway. We really do try to please everybody all of the time, and we are sorry to lose your custom. I am sure it does remove the fine hair but the removal comes off in bits and its very uncomfortable.The results are not lasting as long either and seem to have more in-grown hairs this time round not sure if this is a coincidence or not. I have located another Salon that uses Lycon and will give them a try. So sorry to have to go elsewhere but feel it no longer suits me.If you ever decide to get it back I will return.

I have been using Designer Wax for a few years now, my best friend now uses them too because of my recommendation. We have both had Brazilian and Hollywood waxes elsewhere and now would never go anywhere else. Jo and Anna are amazing, professional and put you at ease.
I had forgotten how traumatic Brazilians could be until I was at home over Christmas and had to have an ‘emergency’ wax at a salon there – it was painful, a lot of wax remained and the wax was poor quality. It made me appreciate Designer Wax so much more!
They are friendly, thorough, quick and fairly painless. I would not consider using anyone else. Cannot prasie the staff and the service highly enough.

I’ve had many Brazilian waxes and as other women have said, Designer Waxing actually know the meaning of a Brazilian! Sadly I’ve had to leave salons before not being fully satisfied with the job or with a few hairs left here and there but the ladies at Designer Waxing always do a brilliant and professional job. As they specialise in waxing, you can be confident with your waxer and you’re not going to see someone who isn’t experienced with intimate waxing. As with any Brazilian, no, it’s not totally painless, but I must say the method and wax they use feels much better and it’s over quicker than it would be with your regular strip wax. I wouldn’t go anywhere else now and recommend the place to anyone, whether it’s your first time or 50th time getting waxed!

Had my first proper Brazilian done tonight by Caitlin, must say she was brilliant – she put me completely at ease and I will be recommending her to all my family and friends, she’s a really lovely girl and I didn’t feel self conscious at all. Will not be going anywhere else in future.

First time to Designer wax and WILL NOT be back, they claim to use Lycon wax which they didnt it was a cheap hot wax, infact there was not one lycon product in the treatment room i asked what flavour they used and the pleasent girl said tea tree which lycon do not do…… Had quite alot of ingrowns which i put down to the cheap wax and not the girls wax technique, the reason they are getting a one star is for the girl, felt robbed of my £35………..

I’m really sorry that you are upset. We did use Lycon until a few months ago, but they have increased the cost of wax to such a level that could not be reflected on our prices. Three years ago when Designer Waxing was set up, Lycon recommended charging £45 for a Brazilian! We loved using the wax, but felt we couldn’t charge London prices in Glasgow and so took the hit financially. This proved eventually to be unsustainable and it was no longer viable to use Lycon wax. We now use Perron Rigot, which is a very good quality French wax and is by no means cheap. We also have Harley wax which is made in the UK and has very similar properties to Lycon. The girls at Designer Waxing would never lie and tell a client that we use Lycon wax. You were mislead because the website hasn’t been updated with the switch. It was overlooked and for that I apologise – it will be changed immediately. The quality of service and value for money you received at Designer Waxing I believe is still exceptionally high. I hope this clarifies things, and please give us a ring or come in to the salon and we’d be more than happy to chat about it further with you.

I visited Designer Waxing last month for my first “Brazilian”,being a guy, I wasn’t entirely sure what to expect, but, what a great experience! My waxer, Jo, put me completely at ease. Overall, the proceedure was pretty much pain free, apart from a couple of times. I intend to go back next month before I go on holiday and get my chest & stomach done, along with a “Chilean” (all the hair round your bits gets removed).
I shall keep you updated.

Had a fantastic wax done by the wonderful Anna the other morning. Couldn’t recommend this salon highly enough!!! I would’ve paid double the price – and I’m on a minimum wage salary. Trust me ladies, going anywhere else to have your girlie area maintained, you’d have to be some sort of masochist! Anna gave pain free and professional treatment, while still chatting and making me feel completely comfortable.
Haven’t stopped raving about it since, and won’t stop anytime soon!

I went to Designer Waxing Hope street last night for a Hollywood (done by the lovely Jo) I can honestly say it was the best waxing experience I’ve had (and lets face it, we’ve all had bad waxes!). Jo is very professional, chatty and make you feel at ease, I will definatley be returning for a Hollywood. Girls this is place to go, I wouldnt recomend anywhere else.

Went there for the 1st time today for a G-string wax and it was brilliant! My waxer (whose name I unfortunately didn't catch) was an absolute professional and went about her job quickly, but still managing to chat away and be very friendly. There was no need to feel embarrassed because you got the feeling you were in safe and experienced hands. Also, it was first time I used hot wax, and now I will never go back to strip wax again!
All in all, it was the best wax I've ever had and will definitely be going back, and will also recommend it to everyone!

It is by far the Best waxing i have ever had !!
The staff are friendly,helpful and totally professional ,the rooms and equipment used are very clean/hygienic and the girls wear gloves.
In the past when they rip the wax strip off you hear the OUCH!!! Well
ladies not at Designer Waxing the Lycon wax and the technique the girls use makes it painless yes you read right PAINLESS !!! I got a Hollywood bum included and i walked out the door pain free,and so happy that i didnt need to go home and use hair removing cream or a razor for stray hairs or bits other beauticians don't usually touch (bum) lol
They done exactly what they advertise and done it to a very high standard .Will definitely be back and have recommended my family and friends

The best wax ever!
I found Designer Waxing about 2 years ago after trying so many other salons and finding them at best mediocre and at worst very painful, unprofessional and unhygenic.
Jen, Jo & Anna all give an unparalled professional and friendly service using the best australian lycon waxing products and scrupulously high standards of hygiene. When you combine this with their fantastic technique and years of experience you get unbeatable results.
Designer Waxing is simply the best waxing experience I have ever had

I've been searching for years for someone who knew what a "brazilian" meant and didn't turn their noses up when I asked for more hair to be removed until I found Designer Waxing.
Excellent service and it feels like a treat than a chore thanks to the friendly staff and lovely surroundings. I recommend it to all my friends.
