William Gregg

Great variety of equipment, also the classes are not all for women. Nice new pool and large changing rooms. There are different tariffs and you can take a 'break' and not have to pay admin. when you start back. The staff are always happy too-when they're not taking a class. Body Pump rocks!

William Gregg is the leisure center in Heanor, not the sandwich shop.

The leisure center has had a full refurbishment over the past year, and is a lovely clean facility. The changing rooms are great with decent sized lockers.
The gym here is brilliant. The staff are really motivating and friendly, and always on hand to give advice if you need it. They also make sure you don't feel intimidated by the body building types. There is loads of equipment and loads of running machines means I've never had to wait to use one yet.
The brand new pool is lovely! Very clean and modern.

If you're going to use the facilities here regularly I'd recommend becoming a member. It's very good value for money, for about £30 monthly you get unlimited use of the facilities and classes on offer, and you can use your membership at the Ri0pley Center too!

this is a nice place for when you are in heanor and are feeling a little bit hungry you can go into Greggs and buy some very nice and cheep baked food which i love because they sell warm things like cheese and onion rolls and sausage rolls also they sell pizza baguettes all for a nice small price i love going here and i recommend it to anyone hungry!

Haha this is a Sports Center No food baked here! I have only used the pool it’s great. Normally a nice cool pool for some lane swimming. You might not want to take your kids unless they can put up with the childrens pool as it can be a little to cold if you are not swimming. My daughter also attends 'one2one’ swimming lessons here and has progressed swiftly. Have always found the staff polite and professional no problems. New pool will be opened soon hopefully. The new Gym looks good but not used it myself.

this is the best place for if you’re out and about and you’ve not got much money.a delicious variety of healthy food.
