I’m in same boat ordered bath before Christmas was told before Christmas eve delivery no one called and now can’t get hold of these guys !

I'm having a bad experience with Bathroom Experience. Having agreed to exchange an unsuitable Kaldewei bath for a more expensive Betti bath - they failed to turn up on the agreed day (7 January 2013) and have since not been answering the phone or replying to e-mails. We have had no bath over Xmas and have an unused bathtub sitting in our hallway with no idea when this is going to get sorted.
The latest is that their phone number seems to be unobtainable and their website has gone down.
Not looking good.

it seems like they probably knew they would close down over christmas and though they would take as much funds as possible in doing research on the company there more debt then profits also the website has gone down and the numbers have been shut off in speaking to the website designers they said that the company is shut down and all show rooms are closed i received no emails etc and have been told this is breach of contract etc and taking the same route through card charge back there is no proof as yet of the company being dissolved but i would think it would have to be confirmed pretty soon

So for weeks later and a few chasing phone calls on my behalf later, I was given a delivery date and Harrold informed me that the bath had been checked in his shop and was on its was to me, on the morning of the delivery date I phoneed the shop to check the bath was definitely on its way, on confirming this I told the plumbers to go ahead and rip the old bathroom out and begin the re pipe it. Around 1 o'clock the bath turned up and as suggested by Harrold I checked the bath before signing for it. To my disappointment the wrong bath was delivered! Straight away I phone Harrold and asked him to see what had gone wrong, he came back and said the wrong bath had been ordered and that I had another 3-4 week waiting list. I NOW HAVE NO BATHROOM!!!! No compensation offered, even after asking, I had to find alternative
accommodation!
I badgered them a few times an in the end I felt like they did not want to know me and in the end I had to deal with cooper callas, the wholesaler directly, wish I had just ordered the bath with them directly in the first place as they have a massive range of products at even lower prices.
Two months later and I have the correct bath and a small wait for the plumber to fit the job in again, I am pleased with the new bath but no thanks to Harrold or the bathroom experience!!
Be careful if you use this company people!

I was really pleased with the overall experience, I was really worried at first as I had a few friends telling me how stressful it is to redo your bathroom but the guys there were really good and it all went very smoothly. And my bathroom looks great. I have to say part of it is that I had a great builder too who did a great installation job.

Bathroom Experience
Not a company to do business with, I bought a number of items from Bathroom Experience. Delivery was very slow and twice failed to meet the delivery dates given. I had professional bathroom fitters to install all the items that I purchased. Amongst these items was a Croydex bath panel that developed a fault, 2 months after fitting the wood on the panel expanded where water had penetrated the outer surface causing cracking to the finish. Bathroom Experience refused to replace or refund for the faulty panel and I will not use them again.

Thank you for your comment. You do appear to have forgotten that we retrned the product to Croydex who found that the panel had been damaged by your fiters in the fitting process. You were offered a replacement at a substantial discount but you declined the offer.

Bathroom Experience
Ordered 3rd June and promised 3-5 day delivery. Rang on 4th day to find out del time to be told my order had been sent back as they didnt take my correct phone number. The bath was reordered with a new del date of 9 working days After the 4th day. The day before the second del date I rang for del time to be told it had been delayed by a further 7 days by the manufacturer. Customer service was poor because I received no phone calls from Bath Exp in this time until the order was passed on to a second person. The second person gave excellent customer service and when he said he would follow up on phone calls he did so. I was then told that my del had been charged at $45 not the $23 I had been advised over the phone. Costs advised for waste were $20 not the $30 added to the bill, and front panel was advised $46 not the 56 stated on website therefore I had no idea what I was really paying for what. The bath was del last Monday. I was promised a free pop up waste as a goodwill gesture for the delay and the waste had not been delivered by the Friday( 6 working days after it was supposed to be sent). I was told the waste was 'only being sent as goodwill' ...and told it would be sent on Monday (7working days). They met my request to have the waste sent out next day del on the Saturday so that I could have the bathroom fitted over the weekend. Bath itself is fab, would have order front panel but will get this from someone else to avoid any more problems!!Overall, over promising caused them under deliver. Customer service can be hugely improved by follow up/regular contact with customer to confirm order is on track and calling customer back not asking customer to call them! Company's error should be paid for by company not the customer. I have discussed this with the manager and feel statisfied with the outcome and have given a fair review of the service/product I recieved.
