The view from the Cathedral is amazing - if you climb the tower (wide enough to get a horse carriage up and not surprising given the number of rises). Not recommended for those with weak hearts or gummy legs. Although if you had both that would be rather unfortunate.

What I found incredible, apart from the view from the tower which spans all the way across Seville, was the grave of ‘Cristobel Colon’ - or Christopher Columbus. How on Earth did we bastardise that name so much or did I miss something in history class? There is some dispute whether his body actually rests there but this is the place of his official tomb.

Anyway, right next to the breathtaking Alcazar but in my opinion RugJones, equally incredible.

Call me a overly Islamicized, but I always preferred the Alcazar to the Catedral. Too much horse poop and not enough shady trees.
