Friendly service and some nice spots near the hearth, perfect for relaxing with a pint and a book.
Their Sunday roast is really good.
Came there often during my 11 months in London, even though it wasn’t that close by, me living near Albert Bridge.

Something about this pub doesn’t seem quite right, but I can’t think of too much wrong with it either.
They serve real ale but my pint of pride was not particularly impressive.
I hear that this is the late licence pub in this area, so I guess this is when it comes into it’s own. In the earlier afternoon it was rather lifeless.

I like this pub and, in my opinion, it is the best in the area because of its atmosphere. It doesn’t have the greatest selection of drinks, but the pub is almost countrylike so provides for a relaxing experience for a quiet drink. They do a piano night but I have no idea when they do it. Plenty of bar games available too.
