Very hit and miss,chips are often reheated here,and friend suffered food poisoning as a result of this big johns once,there is at least 2 or 3 better fast food outlets in Shirley.AVOID

They have great competitive service in halal food compared with mcdonalds and burger king. Very good prices and good range of fast food. Plenty of parking around. Very quick service. Friendly staff.

I’ve moved away from Birmingham recently and Big Johns is something I really miss - The food is fabulous (for fast food that is!) Don’t worry about the parking as you can normally manage to park somewhere if you know the area well. The portions are very generous and you can feed a family of 4 for the price of a single portion in a lot of chip shops. Mmmmm Highly recommended

Great food here! Just the usual typical chippie food, but well done and served as it should be - fast! I’ve been there at all hours, and never been dissapointed as the quality is always top-notch. Only problem is lack of parking - but this is a small price to pay for top quality.
