The Harrod food halls are fantastic, like something out of a movie. I love the HUGE selection of every kind of food you can think of: chocolate, nuts, teas, meat, fruits and veg, etc. My favorite area is the outstanding cheese section: it is literally overwhelming, but in such a good way!

Be sure to also pay attention to the beauty of the rooms: the tile work is amazing.

In my opinion, the food halls are the only reason to visit Harrods. The rest is just an overpriced tourist destination, but the food halls are outstanding.

Harrods food hall is just one of those places where you want to buy everything you see but sadly cant becasue of the preety high prices, however this is reflected in the vast quality of the majority of the food there.
There are loads of different counters and not the ones you find in your local ASDA, they have many chocolate counters, tea, coffee, desserts (Definatly worth a look!), and also oyster bars plus loads more.
It is definatly worth a visit, just for the food halls!

Oh and we went a few weeks ago on a Thursday morning and it was soo quiet, very strange for Harrods.

A couple of years ago I was lucky enough to have a contract IT job in Harrods for a few months. By far the best bit for me was getting to walk round the store before it opened and after it closed. The food hall is a magical place that has almost every food you can imagine, surrounded by fantastic architecture. I remember the first time I came to the food hall as a child and saw a John Dory fish - until that point I thought you could only eat cod and pilchards!

As a confirmed chocoholic, I can confirm the food halls as a “must see” for any chocoholic. With a vast array of concessions from most Belgian chocolatiers, you are sure to be pleased.

With a wide variety of rooms each themed to a different food theme, almost everyone will find something they love. WHether it is rare and nique tea or a Harrod’s logo chocolate bar, there is much to discover.

Fresh fruit is of the highest quality, general foodstuffs are excellent and for the tourist, many consumable presents are available at a variety of price points.

Worth a visit!

Wow this place is mouth-wateringly good. Literally. You are quite like to dribble here. The food is laid out so beautiful and it’s hard to believe that for some people this is their local supermarket, but it’s true. Everything you could ever want to eat is on display here, and if you’re lucky there are tasters laid out too. This is a real tourist attraction.

The food hall is definitely a tourist attraction worth going to. The visual effects it creates are astounding, no wonder the produce is so damn expensive. If you haven't been, please give it a try and don't forget to look at the ceilings with their elaborate designs. Just look at the pictures I've posted here and you'll understand. A wonderful experience overall, if only I could afford to buy something.

You name it. If it’s possible to sell, there’s a very good chance you’ll find it here. And all the food in the Harrods Food Halls looks splendid. In reality, most of the stuff looks better than it actually tastes (especially the sandwiches). Everything’s mega-expensive too. Still, it’s fun to check out what’s on offer and indulge a little.

Feast your eyes at the wonderful array of fresh, cooked, meat and chocolate sections!! The architecture and decor are classy. We love to walk around the stalls and get a taste of luxury at every corner. Although it's a little pricy, it's worth having a look!

OTT but the food hall is fantastic although it's very over priced in some areas... reminds me of the David Jones food hall in Sydney.

Their fresh wraps are really yummy if your in a hurry and they are quite cheap too.

Fun to have a look around in and the wine selection is good, I took my friend here as he was looking for an Australian wine to bring to a dinner party and I knew they had quite a selection of Australian wines in Harrods

I know Harrods is over the top, but you really cannot beat the visual feast of the food hall; the displays are always fabulous, the architecture and the décor are beautiful. It’s a designer mecca for foodies. I generally don’t buy anything, but love going round the various departments. It is a great inspiration to get cooking! Check out their chocolate selection and their teas - difficult to find better in West London

When people come to London and they think about shopping the most likely think Harrods. There is only one sale, we all know that. That doesn't excite me. But the food halls are a must. Not just because of the selection of fine food that's on offer. Just look around and look up. It's the architecture and the striking decor of those halls that makes it worth a visit. Stunning. Oh, and the food of course.
