Schlosshotel Lerbach

Gourmetrestaurant Lerbach with chef Nils Henkel is one of the best food experiences I have ever had! I would go more often if we lived near by because the food is just unforgettable.
We have visited and stayed the hotel, which has the friendliest and most accomodating staff.

The most relaxing hotel I know. From arrival and throughout my stay the staff were both friendly and helpful. Rooms are comfortable and well appointed. The hotel boasts an excellent bar, with terrace and two restaurants. The "Coq au Vin" is a brasserie style restaurant with excellent French and German dishes. "Gourmetrestaurant Lerbach" deservedly holds 3 Michelin stars and is where chef Nils Henkel showcases his ingredients based approach to haute cuisine.

Transfer to the sister hotel "Grandhotel Schloss Bensberg" (with its own 3 Michelin star restaurant" is available.

We do live nearby and therefore we never sleep there. For business purposes, I stayed there two times. It was beautiful, very uncomplicated and an excellent service. All meals and the conference organisation were perfect. We like to go to the bar of the hotel with the family and they also have a nice terrace. Coffee and cake are very enjoyable and for special occasions also a glass of champagne.

Inside an enchanting fairy-tale castle there is the modern restaurant Dieter Müller which is amongst Germany's top restaurants. The food is excellent, the choice of wine very good. Of course this doesn't come cheap but it's well worth it. The service is equally first-class. One feels well looked after and every wish will be satisfied. One of the places you should experience (at least) once in your liftime.

I had the good fortune to have been a hotel guest 3 years ago and enjoy a 6-course-menu in the evening. Even today I still raving about the food, it was simply superb. One should assume that the taste buds of a smoker aren't that well developed. What a misapprehension. They were delicacies. Each delicacy on its own - wit such many different tastes. Simply beyond words. Each course had a different wine with it - first class choice. Also breakfast is a class of its own. An experience which you won't have too often (be in a position to have). But it stays in best memory for very long!!!!

One of the best German restaurants.Expensive, but worth every penny. Of course, you should like gourmet cooking.
