Designer hotel a bit outside of town. Pretty good place to stay for the night and there is enough out there written about this place. I wanted to write a bit about the restaurant though. It may have been better in earlier days but it seems to have gone a bit downhil. The food we received was not really at the level of the hotel itself. Quite bland food with disinterested service personnel. As a guest you don't have tons of options in the immediate area. Hence I can imagine the hotel has decided to not really focus much energy here. A shame as the hotel is quite nice and the bar as well as restaurant look quite good and have a nice ambiance. Someone needs to address this issue or it will get worse. Still worth seeing so skip dinner if you can and just have drinks. Even though in that regards, there are also better cocktails and drinks in general to be had in Hamburg.
