Drakes Barber&Grooming

Bought my boyfriend a gift voucher from here and he had his 1st ever facial last night.  He rebooked for another one next month straight after.  Thank you Drakes - I have been trying to educate him about looking after his skin for ages - the atmosphere and staff made him comfortable and not feel 'girly!'

New name but still good service and quality. Got my next 3 bookings in place already! 

Have been going to Jason Shankeys (now Drakes) in Fulham for years. Great welcome, great staff, and most importantly great haircuts!

This is friendly and thoroughly professional. Unlike many salons, where the lighting, muzak and staff are guaranteed to put you on edge, this is relaxed and thoroughly grown up. There are free drinks and flat screen televisions (for sports and news junkies) but, most important, the stylists, including the excellent Noel Annesley, are charming and skilful.

For the last year and a half I've been going regularly to this salon and I have always been satisfied with their services, from restyles to regular cuts they always deliver a top job. The salon and staff radiate a non-pretentious laid back yet professional atmosphere. Highly recommended.

I was very happy and delighted with my haircut.The place is cool ,it's got a flat screen and sky sport on.One of the best places to get groomed.They do back and shoulder wax as well.So do not hesitate before you go to the beach. :)

This is a top salon and i was very happy with the cut and shave!! Will be telling my friends to go here and see my new top hairdresser!! What i would say to all them sad guys out there that were not happy!! get a life this place was class!! The irish guy was such good fun had some bad jokes but you know what he was down to earth and the rest off the staff top marks! Very freindly and welcoming, made me fell like i was at home.

Nothing spectacular about this place! For the price you pay, the haircut is pretty average. I must add though that the salon is well laid out and the waiting room is fully equipped with a flat screen, usual mags and drinks on offer. At the end of the day, in my opinion a good salon is judged by the quality of the hair cut and in this case, it wasn't particularly outstanding.

It's a disaster..I went for a one-hour facial worth £50 at Fulham....

It was nothing but a usual scrub applied and steam given...While I came out after facial I felt no difference to my skin...forget about the glow /shine which comes to your face after a facial....Upon that the lady who was giving me facial was trying to sell me products at the end..When I showed no interest I was treated as if she is just waiting for me to pay the money and leave.....

I would not recommend this one to anyone...total waste of money..

In case anyone from jason shankey is wondering who am I, I am the one who came for facial on 07-Nov at 2 pm...

I have been told that most men love a bit of sport on the box and beer, over pretty much anything else.
Which is obviously the selling point for Jason Shankey’s salon, as the waiting room holds a large flat screen tv flashing the sports channel, flanked with a host of guy orientated magazines… and cold beers at hand.
The summer months see their beer garden happily buzzing with testosterone.
I theorize that if you are headed to a salon for more than the standard cut (ie a facial or a manicure or some bronzing) then the boys will still feel like men in these surrounds.
As a male grooming business I am obviously relying on my male friend’s experiences and scrutinising the end results… and honestly its some of the best mop crops I’ve seen.
