I never write reviews, but in this case, I feel I really have to.

We had an art deco sofa, 2 easy chairs and a wing armchair made to order. They were all immaculately made and look really stunning, we were really pleased when we got them.

Throughout the whole process Mr Dove, the owner and his daughter Caroline could not have been more helpful - they really go that extra mile. When I stupidly damaged the material on the arm of a chair, Caroline went out of her way to find me enough material (it had been discontinued) to make up two arm-covers to hide the damage. What great service!

Thoroughly recommend this shop - and its great to have an independent owner managed shop that can supply such an original and and varied range of furniture. Pity there aren't more shops like this.

We've just purchased 2 gorgeous super-comfortable settees from Scandecor, and I must say that it's the best business I've had dealings with within the last decade, if not longer.  They have the most amazing choice of reproduction soft furniture, the quality is superb, and it is made locally.  The fabric choice is excellent, and made in Europe for the most part I believe.  But what is more, from the moment we walked into the shop, (where we spent easily an hour) through the choosing process to delivery, the help we were given and communication were consistently excellent.  The lady with whom I dealt exclusively (one of the owners, I believe) really knew her stuff and went the extra mile. 

If retro or classic style is your thing, then do yourself a favour and pay this establishment a visit!

Business, how it should be done, and I'd give it double the stars if I could.

The furniture here looks well made and very confortable. There is nothing more fun than trying out sofa’s in a shop. This is the ultimate window shopping.
What is on offer is classic furniture from the 1920’s to 1960’s. They are all retro. Art Deco fabrics are used. One great example is the Normandie at around £700.
