1 review of Regency Square in English
This square is a great selling point for tourism. The building glow in summer and sometimes resemble giant white iced cakes! It has its own society called the Regency square area society. Most of the properties are hotels and the ones that aren’t are well out of most individuals pockets.
With ones back to the square the ruin of the West Pier can be clearly viewed. Its like some ghost from the past haunting the area. It reminds the tourist of things past and old glories!
Peregrine Falcons can be seen from here living on Sussex Heights block of flats. There is a webcam to view what they are upto.
Just of the square is a French reformist church. Its a small affair and not easily viewed from the inside. It sits mostly unnoticed. Its opposite the Queensbury arms the smallest pub in Brighton.
Another pub to mention is the Regency Tavern with its mock Regency decor. Not to be missed.
There is a grassed area that is well kept. Sitting on the grass is nice but is very open and makes one feel as if on view to everyone. The bustling traffic also ruins the atmosphere.
