Review of nox bar from 18 November 2010

I had the pleasure of being invited here for a beer and a cigar...yes you read that right, a cigar. Being the daughter of an avid cigar smoker, this is not so foreign to me, but I must admit, it felt strange to be doing this in public...toyed a bit with my feminine image. ;-) Nevertheless, even with the two of us puffing away AND the surrounding tables smoking, the air was pleasant. The bar is in general quite nice with earth tones and the elongated room keeps things cozy while giving a sense of privacy. I will definitely come again. The service wasn't great the night I was there. That could have been a bit better, bit still 4 stars mostly because I was so impressed with the quality of air in spite of all the smoke. That's an accomplishment!

Comfortable cocktail bar where you are allowed to smoke, which is rare in Hamburg since the new regulations!
