Great atmosphere, good pub food, friendly service!
This is a really good pub with good beer and good food. nice place to hang out or watch sports. only problem I have with it is the location - not really near an S or U-bahn station.

Don’t assume that because this is an Irish pub they’ll show the English football. Sometimes they do, sometimes they don’t.
Don’t assume that because this is an Irish pub it’ll be open by lunchtime - it opens at 4pm.
Don’t assume that they’ll change their opening hours in exceptional circumstances, e.g. an early kick-off 6 Nations rugby game - if it starts before 4pm you can’t watch it here.
The Titanic looks like an Irish pub. It certainly serves Kilkenny and Guiness. It has a dart board, but in many ways it’s just an Irish-themed German pub. I wish they’d make up their minds over what they wanted to be, then I’d know whether it was worth turning up on any particular night…

So far until last night Fineganns has been my favorite Irish pub but now that I've discovered that theres a much cozier and closer to me located Irish pub such as the Titantic I believe I'll be coming here more often instead.
The seating is comfy and they've got a really nice Christmas feel going about the place already, decorations up and theres even a tree.
They play all your sports on a big projector screen and theres a couple of smallers ones around the joint to watch your less popular games on too i imagine and theres a darts room which looks as though it could be a lot of fun after a few.
I didn't actually drink any alcohol here so I don't know how it compares with fineganns I do know however they gave us real milk with our mugs of tea and that made me pretty happy :-)
The only real complaint I have is that like fineganns after awhile it gets a bit too smokey in the place :-(
Really impressed with the girls bathrooms as well, they have a range of girlie sanitery things incase you should run into an emergency, Handcream and Q-tips and make-up pads incase you need to touch up that tear streaked face after you team just lost an importaint game??
Anyways top points for those little extras!

The Titanic is my favourite Irish pub in Hamburg. Themed around an ill-fated ocean liner, you certainly get a sinking feeling when you see the steak sandwich you didn't order arrive on your friends' plates. The beer is reassuringly pricey, but cheaper than Finnegan's Wake, and it's a lot less crowded. It also doesn't have the sticky finish, and has really comfy sofas you can watch the match on in the left hand side room.
Great atmos - although there will inevitably (and mystifyingly) be some German Man U fans present...

Anja_244, 13 November 2007: oh, yeah it is a great place and just across the street from my place
A good place to watch UK sport in Hamburg. 2 big projector screens and a couple of LCDs dotted around the bar. Unlike Finnegans, this place feels like a proper pub. Lots of big tables, bookshelves, pub grub and lots of beer choices. They even had the xmas decorations up! Seems a bit early to me :)
Try the steak sandwich. It's excellent.
