Grill, Stockholm

This is a wonderful restaurant to try out when visiting Stockholm. The interior is laid out like several different living rooms, each with totally different decor that seem to somehow mesh as a whole.

The food is fantastic with lots to choose from. The staff couldn't do enough to help without being too overbearing.

The only real downside is the price but hey it's Stockholm, everything is expensive.

Grill is quite an interesting place, mostly because of the interior. It's a wild mix of styles and I suppose part of the appeal is that you don't know which section you will end up in. The restaurant is divided into a few separate sections decorated as different living rooms. It's all a bit over the top and though they are vastly different it all seems to go together and make sense somehow.

As the name implies they serve grilled food. They have five different ways of grilling it. The food was good, really good ingredients and very well cooked. In the end it is grilled meat though and well, grilled is grilled. It was good though but expensive. Stockholm is an expensive city so it's not super-expensive relative to other restaurants but be prepared to spend a fair amount.

The service was truly excellent. My company had brought their 1 year old baby and the staff were extremely accommodating with us and made sure that the evening went as smooth as it possibly can when bringing small children to a restaurant. As a nice touch they took the baby food and reheated it, put it on a plate and even put a little sprig of parsley on top just as if it had been one of their dishes.

All in all a very nice place to go and meet people in.

I can really recommend this restaurant for both dinners and their excellent weekend brunch.

Great for families, friends etc. the service was very good despite the fact that place was packed. The food was well made and fresh. The lamb was amazing and after three helpings I had to control myself…
