Review of Halloween (Restaurant) from 13 April 2008

As the name suggests, Halloween has a gothic theme and the bar is decorated with a lot of bats and skulls. There are also some truly original and fantastic sculptures on display which you can buy. The serving staff wear monk’s robes and the general atmosphere is spooky but friendly.

I’m not a huge fan of beer, but Halloween has its own concoctions of fruity beer and I enjoy the strawberry and blueberry versions. They are delicious - neither obviously beer nor are they sickly sweet.

They do food, but I’ve always visited late at night for drinks only.

It’s a 10 minute walk from Bruxelles Midi station so if you don’t want your visit to be a main event, it’s worth stopping in for a beer before you catch your Eurostar back to the UK.
