Looks like a very enticing place for a cuppa cake or lunch. The reality has on three seperate occassions has been very different: missing orders, poor staff, over priced food. It does appear that young children are not welcome (people in wheel chairs I suspect would have similar issues). The queues remain but the sparkle has long gone, avoid

Good food at all times of the day and very handy for the Eastgate Centre. Pity they have stopped doing the bread and butter pudding - it was awesome :).

This is a great wee restaurant in the middle of town. It’s always busy at peak times and I’ve often had to give up and go somewhere else since the queue is out of the door.
The food is fantastic (which I guess is why it is so popular).
If you can’t face queuing then wait till mid afternoon and pop in for tea and cakes - you won’t be disappointed!

This is a nice place to go for lunch or dinner. I have been for lunch here and really enjoyed it. I had battered fish and chips and it was really nice. The fish was perfectly cooked and the batter was nice and crispy. The chips were great too. The restaurant is a good size and the staff are nice and friendly. The prices are good too and their cakes look and taste really nice. The cakes often include strawberry tarts and gateaux. Would definitely recommend this place for lunch/dinner or even for a coffee and cake.
