would like to thank young lady at the jewellery counter on Saturday 21st August who came to my rescue. I was taking my granddaughter to the cinema when a lens came out of my spectacles. I firstly enquired at Homebase to see if they could help but was told I should go to Specsavers - in Inverness town centre - no lens so not able to drive so not very helpful!. When I explained my predicament to the young lady in your shop she went off to have a look and came back with just the right size screwdriver to enable me to tighten the screw and replace the lens. Thank you very much. Without her help I would have been stranded and also had a very disappointed 4 year old to deal with.

This is an Argos like all others, the front of the shop is pretty large compared to the one in the Eastgate Centre. Argos is usually pretty good value for money and any problems I’ve had in the past with their products they have been really good at sorting out and have replaced the faulty goods.

It’s probably exactly the same as any Argos in any city in the UK.
This one is in a good location and you can get the car right to the door which is great if you are buying really heavy stuff.
It’s a big shop with lots of catalogues and the queues at the tills never seem to be very long. The service is quick and efficient.
I guess with Argos the saying “you get what you pay for” rings true. I always go for the cheap stuff and then regret that my “mahogany” table for a fiver is just painted MDF!!!
