Love it. Consistent, good value for money. Super meal. We eat at Basingstoke before a film or show. Recommended.

Great food and service, this is where we end up when we don't want to cook at home.

A steady Wagamama. Service was fairly quick, but my noodles were left on the side getting cold. The staff were polite. The Goats do Roam had a good nose.

Love this chain, seems to be of the same standard everywhere which is good. Good value too if you keep off the expensive drinks and stick to the free green tea! Only gripe is that they always seem to sit me next to a wierdo, maybe they are trying politely to tell me something..... Enjoy

As they all say, very good food. Went there for my birthday. Their desserts are to die for but dont get a great deal for your money. Dont think much of their soups.
We tried their lamb dish for £9 and did not great a great portion
One thing to suggest if they were listening to the like of me is they should change the menu once in a while. I do get bored with the same stuff. They do not seem to invent a new dish that often.
Food is served as we all know when it is ready, however mine turned up when everyone else had finished theirs.

I love eating at this particular Wagamama’s in Basingstoke because its got a nice atmosphere there and the staff are friendly and helpful. The prices of the dishes are quite expensive but something for special occasions its nice to eat. There dishes are fresh and made on the spot and the layout inside is very modern and there are several longs tables there too. Food doesn’t take long to arrive, roughly 15-20 mins depending if its busy or not.

I’ve eaten at Wagamama’s a few times now. It’s perfect if you want to eat out, but fancy something lighter. It’s also perfect if you’re short on time.

It’s not your usual dining experience, but good fun and the food is always good. Never had a bad experience there yet and will definitely go back.

Try the 'Raw Juice’, it’s great! :-D

I was introduced to Wagamama about a year and a half ago and it quickly became one of my favourite places to go eat. If you need a relatively quick meal and don’t feel like doing typical fast food like Burger King or McDonalds, then this is a good place to go. You do pay slightly more, but it’s real food cooked fresh. There are some downsides, you do share elbow space with strangers - although this is part of the reason they can charge low prices, and they bring out the food when it comes. If you’re looking to eat a slower meal then don’t order your entrees until you have finished your appetisers otherwise chances are they’ll all be brought at basically the same time.

A great place to go and eat some authentic Japanese food. Love the way it is cooked from fresh right in front of you so you know how fresh it is. Often very noisey with the nature of the restaurant, however you find yourself watching others cook and then the others are watching the person cooking you meal. Chairs leave a lot to be desired and should be made better and they you are not able to sit on them for ages. The food is well priced, but after a few drinks and some desserts it could turn out to be a pretty expensive night. Very unique and appealing

Wagamama is an absolute delight. Fresh food, delicious menu selection, good drinks, interesting starters, and pretty reasonable prices. Service is always quick and friendly – they don’t mess around here; orders are buzzed to the kitchen wirelessly and are prepared fresh from fresh ingredients – and the food is probably some of the best I have ever eaten in the UK. It’s not particularly comfortable – seems to be aimed at people who want a quick meal, not at people who want to spend hours over their food – and the benches are hard, but this is a small price to pay for one of the best restaurant chains in Britain.

discovered Wagamamas whilst on my way to the cinema one day. Conveniently located right outside Festival Place shopping centre, this restaurant is fantastic. It has a variety of tatsty and healthy japanese dishes and its all made from fresh and you can really taste it. Inside its very sleek and modern and you eat at bar type setting on long tables where everyone sits together so if its a romantic meal for two you want it perhaps isnt the right place if its a busy Friday or Saturday night! Main dishes are either soup, noodle or rice based, and you can add side dishes which are maily dumplings chicken or prawns. The offer some lovely healthy fresh juices as well as your usual beer and soft drinks. They have special seats especially for little ones that attach to the tabels and hooks underneath the tables to have your coat and bag. I think its exellent value for money and Iv certainly never eaten anywhere like it before so its worth a try. You get served very quickly so its ideal if you are in a rush to see a movie but you never feel rushed. My husband has purchased the cook book which they also sell but nothing compares to the real thing. My favorite dishes are the yaki Soba noodles with negima yakatori which is teriyaki chicken. Mmm I can almost smell it!

Wagamama seems to be getting ever more popular! I hadn’t tried it until last year and now I’m pretty hooked. This is the closest to home and convenient to pop-in with a Cinema visit at the nearby Vue. Being part of a major chain, of course all food is cooked from fresh to a high standard as is the decor. Aside from the consistency, what makes a restaurant that’s part of a chain is the location and the staff. All the staff here who served us have been polite, efficient, attentive and full of character. What I like. So if you like great Japanese food, the idea of being squeezed up on a bench with people you’ve never met before and people watching (when the people you’re watching are the staff!), then here’s the place.

Cooked from fresh, i have never found noodles so appealing! Try some of the dumplings to start! If you’re not a fan of noodles you can opt for rice dishes such as chicken katsu curry which is yummy! They also do some great fresh fruit juices, or vegetable juice with energy drink for a bit of zest to see you through the rest of the day or night! You can’t book a table, and it definetly is not the place to go for a romantic night out as the tables are designed so you eat in a communal style (i.e. several dinning groups eat at one long table) but it is worth a visit for some feel good food. The one thing i would say is that my food came 20 minutes before my friends..but the staff were great and she got her meal free as we’d had to eat seperately!!
