you get what you pay for - but this travelodge is ideally placed for the excellent DLR which runs straight into Tower Gateway station opposite Tower of London. Rooms are showing signs of wear, grubby curtains and cleaning isn’t brilliant - we complained at our last stay and we were moved to another room. The car park has to be paid for but I think that was only £5 a day. An ideal place to stay if you would rather spend your money on shopping or sightseeing.

room very clean, as well as bathroom,
no problems with check in at all.
